About Me & My Greek World
It has been a long time since I wanted to conciliate my work as a painter and my love of Greece transforming them into daily objects to share with you.
Life is full of obligations and priorities which often get you to postpone realising your dreams but, when time comes, you just have to seize the opportunity and get started! So, here we are!
I created the brand « My Greek World »! A brand for lovers of Greece – the ones that already know that blessed land – and for those dreaming of getting to know it!
I chose this special name because Greece has a unique place in my heart (not only due to my origins…. I’m Greek & French) but also to share with you my vision of Greece through my patterns. My thinking is strongly influenced by its great history, an infinite source of inspiration. On this site, you’ll find brief comments “about the name and pattern” of each of my creations.
How do I actually work? Following my inspiration the next step is to make all the drawings by hand, ink them and then colour them digitally. I work mostly with artisans & small companies for printing and for sewing the fabrics.
Bags & scarves are sold with a textile storage bag to avoid plastic packaging. You can use it to protect and store your purchase! For shipping, I also use size-adapted packaging and acid-free paper tissue to wrap the products. More will come in the future to help preserve our environment.
When at long last the many tasks of drawing, coloring, creating, printing, sewing and quality inspection are completed, I’m happily ready to present you with my collections and express the hope you will greatly enjoy it!
