About the pattern :
This pattern is inspired with embroideries from the 14th to early 19th century from Epirus, a northwestern region of Greece, which was under Ottoman influence for more than 400 years.
The horseman with its shimmering clothes riding his decorated horse is going to court a young lady. She is also beautifully dressed, holding flowers in her hand. They stand in an enchanted garden with multicoloured birds and blossoming flowers.
